The Mariners Clubs and Seafarers Centres exist in many ports around the world run by various churches, charities and agencies. It has many names, some due to historical links, or to society and church affiliation. It has many faces, and many forms of clothing, but always a smile of welcome. Few are the same, all are similar, offering hospitality, help and a home ashore here.
In this estuary there are three centres in Goole, Hull and Immingham.
